AREA 

6.5 hectares in the Sauternes appellation. The soil is mostly clayey-gravel.

GRAPE VARIETIES

90 % Sémillon, 10 % Sauvignon and a few shoots of Muscadelle.  

AGE OF THE VINES

Average age of 45 years.

YIELD

10 to 12 hectolitres per hectare.

PLANTING DENSITY

6,500 shoots per hectare.

VINEYARD MANAGEMENT

Controlled management, plot by plot. Manual removal of excess leaves.

HARVEST 

Manual picking is undertaken 5 to 7 times from mid-September to the beginning of November.

VINIFICATION

Natural fermentation in new oak barrels.

AGEING

18 to 36 months depending on the development of each vintage. The wine is aged in oak barrels.

ANNUAL PRODUCTION

10 to 50 barrels (2,000 to 10,000 bottles), depending on the vintage.

MARKETING

Sold at the estate, to restaurants, cellarmen and importers.
